Parent Programmes
The family support team works diligently to empower families by enhancing their skills through a variety of engaging programmes and personalised home support tailored specifically for children from their first year up to their fourth birthday. The team is well-versed in effective parenting strategies, fostering play skills, promoting healthy sleep, ensuring overall well-being, and guiding families through the toilet training process. The team take the time to listen to families' needs to provide guidance.
There are five simple steps to help maintain and improve your well-being: connect, keep learning, be active, take notice, and give. Take 5 focuses on a step each week to boost mental health and wellbeing. Parents receive a journal they can personalise and complete each week, along with a self-care activity. The newly acquired skills can be easily recreated at home and passed on to both children and other family members.
This nurturing 5-week program can also be delivered in a one-to-one capacity within the home environment and tailored to the parent.

If you want to improve your cooking skills and eat healthier on a budget, then these programmes are for you! We will look at the Eatwell plate and create fun, nutrient-balanced dishes you can take home and enjoy with the whole family. Slow cookers are available, and all participants receive a cookbook to try out newly acquired skills
