Parent's Story

The following is a Mum’s reflection of her journey with Lisburn Sure Start and how she feels now-

“I worry less about my child. I am more confident about my parenting and can say no to others. I have more confidence taking my child out and about. I have learnt to be realistic and I know what is do-able. I feel confident to continue to support my son and I am now enjoying my child”.

Mum is planning to do Restart Education Course at SERC starting in September 2019. She enjoyed doing the Sure Start courses and this has given her the confidence to tackle such a course.
